“It’s a yearly tradition of the foundation, the School Supplies Distribution Activity is included in the Employees Welfare Program, under the Education Program. SCFI hands out school supplies to different schools in Legazpi City and other parts of the Bicol Region as the school year starts,” said Ms. Gemina O. Quiros, SCFI Executive Director.
They visited several schools such as Iyao Elementary School, Obi Elementary School, Paraiso A Elementary School, Paraiso B Elementary School, San Miguel Central Elementary School, Solong Elementary School, Guinlajon Elementary School, Alobo Elementary School, Bogtong Elementary School, Mabinit Elementary School, and San Bernardo Elementary School. The distribution was held at the Celebration Plaza and Sunwestville Realty and Development Corporation office.
For the schools in Legazpi City, the said activity was sponsored by the Sunwest Construction & Development Corporation (SCDC), Sunwestville Realty and Development Corporation (SRDC), and Embarcadero Land Ventures Inc. (ELVI). For the schools in Catanduanes and Sorsogon, the activity was sponsored by Sunwest Water & Electric Co., Inc. (SUWECO).
